Corporate Structure

Waters Tenant Representation LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Waters Corporation. Waters Tenant Representation holds the active broker's license for the organization and serves as the repository for the associate broker licenses held by Chris Atwater and Dave Cassard.

Executive Team

Ongoing consulting and due diligence activities are headed up by Chris Atwater.  Dave Cassard is actively involved in Waters corporate accounting and real estate brokerage activities. Rick Cassard serves as General Counsel, and manages the legal affairs of the Waters Corporation and its subsidiaries (including Waters Tenant Representation LLC).

Chris
Atwater
Chris has served as President of the Waters Corporation since 2005 and is currently the president of Waters Tenant Representation LLC. Between 1996 and 2005 he was primarily involved in asset management, property management and tenant representation, specializing in the office submarket. For 4 years he has been the Property Manager of record for the 180,000 SF Waters Circle development. Prior to 1996, Chris spent 15 years appraising commercial real estate in the Midwest and Southeast. Qualifications include:

○ Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, State of Michigan
○ Certified Commercial Investment Member designation (CCIM)
○ Member, Appraisal Institute designation (MAI)
○ Education and Appraisal Subcommittee Chairs, Grand Rapids Association of Realtors
○ Former Certified Real Estate Appraiser, Michigan and Georgia (inactive)
○ Former partner in Georgia-based commercial real estate appraisal firm of Schultz, Carr, Bissette, Atwater and Associates.
○ BBA with majors in Business Management and Real Estate, Kent State University  

Dave
Cassard
Dave served as the President of the Waters Corporation from 1985 until 2005 and is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors. In his capacity as President he oversaw management and ownership of a real estate portfolio exceeding 500,000 SF of office and retail space in the Grand Rapids area. Dave has also been actively involved in local civic, economic and professional organizations over the past 25 years, including the following:

○ Past President, Grand Rapids chapter of BOMA
○ Former Chairperson, City of Grand Rapids Parking Commission
○ Former Chairperson, Grand Rapids/Kent County Convention and Visitors Bureau
○ Former Chairperson, City of Grand Rapids Downtown Development Authority
○ Current and former board member of several local corporations
○ Current treasurer of the Leelanau Conservancy, a land trust
○ Certified Public Accountant designation (CPA)
○ Certified Property Manager designation (CPM)
○ Licensed Real Estate Broker, State of Michigan
○ Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Michigan State University

Richard (Rick)
Cassard
While Rick has been involved on a strategic level with the Waters Corporation over the past 25 years as a part owner and board member, his primary focus has been building a legal practice (now Of Counsel) at Warner, Norcross and Judd LLP, a Grand-Rapids-based law firm. His practice focus has been real estate development, ownership and sales, as well as general business law. Local civic, professional and academic activities include:
